McCafe turns coffee grounds into fertilizer

McCafe has a massive problem, it's generating 50,000 pounds of used coffee grounds... per day!  To help divert this waste from landfills and put it to good use, McCafe’s will compost the coffee grounds into valuable fertilizer that can be used by farmers and gardeners nationwide. As a result, McCafe coffee will become a little greener every day.

Promotional sticker packs feature plants that thrive in acidic environments (perfect with the coffee grounds), and can be used to decorate/label the cups!

Giveaways will also include seed infused napkins. Once placed in dirt, they begin to dissolve, releasing the embedded seeds to kickstart a home garden.
